new city, new home, new child proofing...

as all of you know we moved (yay!) to landenberg, pa and it's been great so far. however child proofing has been taken to a whole new level (and we thought we hit the highest back in aston).

1. soon it will be fun to lock your parents out of a room, especially a room with a sink that can be reached
2. a stone fire place hearth is not just for looks, but serves as an excellent jumping off point
3. the room lights are now controlled by a two year old
3. "lock" and "unlock" will be figured out...give it a few more weeks
4. for some reason there is always a random nutrigrain bar lying some where

ah the adjustments :) so here is a pictures of our new family room with dylan running out of frame like a mad scientist...or a toddler who just did something bad. you guess.

Happy Birthday Sweet Dylan

Our little guy turned two today and with each day he continues to amaze us with his own little personality emerging. Whether it's telling Mommy "NO!" or saying to Daddy "Get Away!" our favorite is when he pulls us together to give him a kiss on either side of his cheek. Dylan, we love you more and more each day and with each passing day we couldn't be more proud of the little guy you have become.

The beach!

What a fun time! This was Dylan's first trip to the beach where he could actually walk around and play in the water, he loved it! Brian played the cool parent bringing him out into the ocean over and over again. Then the fun REALLY started when he took not one, but two trips on the Thomas Monorail!! We ended our vacation with a family ride on a surrey (yes, I made them do it) :) It was a fun week of family time...looking forward to it next year.

He was the only boy there and wouldn't sit still for 1 minute; fell asleep 2 minutes after we started walking back to the car. It was a fun day!
